RevScribe ("we", "us") helps local businesses collect Google reviews. We try to collect as little data as possible to run the service.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, and authentication identifiers when you sign in.
- Business profile data: business name, logo, Google review link, and templates you create.
- Usage data: aggregate counts of link visits, template selections, and copy-to-clipboard events used to power your analytics dashboard.
2. What we do not collect
We do not collect the text of reviews customers post on Google — those go directly from your customer to Google. We do not sell personal data.
3. How we use data
To operate and improve the service, secure accounts, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We use a small number of subprocessors for hosting, authentication, and analytics.
4. Cookies and storage
We use first-party cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember UI preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
5. Data retention
Account and business profile data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@revscribe.app.
7. Children
RevScribe is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes
If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
